Grand opening ceremony of the International Education City - IEC Quang Ngai

After more than 1 year of construction, the International Education City – IEC Quang Ngai, which is built by Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG), officially opens on June 28th, welcoming more than 1,000 elite citizens in 2019-2020 academic year.

The grand opening ceremony of the International Education City – IEC Quang Ngai took place on June 28th with the participation of 1,500 guests, especially there were: Mr. Vo Van Thuong – Member of the Politburo, Head of Central Propaganda Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia – Deputy Minister of Education & Training; central senior leaders; leaders of the provinces: Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, DakLak, Binh Dinh, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Bac Lieu, etc.; many famous artists who are parents and students in NHG education system like: actress Oc Thanh Van, footballer Cong Vinh, singer Thuy Tien, singer Dong Nhi, actress Cat Phuong, singer Hoang Anh Doraemon, etc.; and the teachers as well as parents of IEC Quang Ngai.

The home of knowledge for more than 1,000 global citizens

With the understanding that everyone has the aspiration of intelligence, health and soul, IEC Quang Ngai is the home of knowledge for more than 7,000 global citizens, including 6,000 students, 1,000 Vietnamese and foreign teachers.

As of July 2019, the number of enrollments for 2019-2020 academic year of IEC Quang Ngai has reached more than 1,000 students. Nearly 200 Vietnamese and foreign teachers have joined the academic staff of IEC Quang Ngai, creating a multicultural and constantly developing learning environment.

Also in the opening ceremony, the delegation and all guests had a chance to visit the creative learning and experience environment in IEC Quang Ngai through 7 innovative education environments, including: natural ecology; sports and physical education; engineering and experimental science; music and culture; arts; humanities and communication; and boarding. In which, the boarding environment includes an infrastructure and learning facilities with international standards, such as: library; laboratory; robocon room; Van Xuong tower honoring wisdom and success; kitchen system achieving ISO 22,000; 10 international sports divisions; 10-lane olympic swimming pool; stadium for trampolines; etc.

Not only that, NHG – with its foundation of technology – has applied the most optimal IT system at IEC Quang Ngai to enhance interaction and support for students and parents: wifi system covering the whole city; Smart Card integrated in all activities to create a cashless city and ensure the security; artificial intelligence (AI) helping parents understand the needs of children; e-learning and e-library systems with 24-hour access; iPortal, school management software; iOffice, paperless office; Oracle Peoplesoft, HR management software; Dynamic 365, accounting software; etc.

The heart of knowledge, community and local culture

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly values the modern learning model at IEC and expresses his deep thanks to NHG: “IEC Quang Ngai is a meaningful project to society, marking an important milestone in the education development of Quang Ngai province. This is an honor of the locality to have the first school of international education methods, which will strongly inspire the academic life on the land of talents”.
